Cultural Events

The Core of Our Cultural Being

Traditional celebrations are some of the core aspects of any culture. Whether it is a harvest festival, a religious holiday, or a national observance, our celebrations are woven tightly into our overall cultural identity. It also helps us to affirm cultural harmony in preview of the multitude of cultures in our region.

Stay Connected

Celebrating your traditions helps keep you grounded in your own culture while adapting to a new one. This is especially important to understand us as well others, reason behind all activities, why it is essential etc. Celebrating one of our traditional holidays can brighten up our mood for weeks as we become absorbed in preparations for the event and the excitement of the day itself.

Give Students to understand our Roots

Celebrating your traditions is perhaps most important if we have students growing up in another culture. It can help them keep one foot firmly rooted in their home culture, while also offering learning experiences that might not otherwise occur.

Share Your Culture

Traditional celebrations are also an excellent opportunity for intercultural exchange and understanding. Both teachers and students learn about other cultures through these celebrations.

We at SSRACS celebrate all cultural events to sustain our core values. The cultural events start right from the welcoming of students with Freshers Party, therefrom  to observance of Eid, Celebration of Janmastami, hosting Garba event, Diwali, Christmas, etc.
